The almond blossom festivities are a very popular celebration in the municipalities of Tejeda and Valsequillo on the island of Gran Canaria. These festivities usually take place between January and February, when the almond trees are in full bloom and the landscapes are dyed white and pink.
In Tejeda, the almond blossom festival is held over a weekend and includes a fair of local products, live music and sometimes (especially on their anniversaries) a photography competition. It is also possible to go hiking and enjoy the panoramic view of the almond blossom fields. The municipality is famous for its breathtaking scenery and cool climate. During the Almond Blossom festivities, the town fills with colour and joy, leaving a spectacular image that attracts visitors from all parts of the island.
The festival begins with a parade of floats decorated with floral motifs, where the villagers of Tejeda show their creativity and artistic skills. The streets are filled with music, dancing and laughter, creating a festive and contagious atmosphere. There are also exhibitions of traditional sports such as Canarian wrestling or "lucha de garrote", in which you can take part if you dare to fight. On the other hand, we cannot forget the demonstrations of silbo gomero.
On the other hand, the almond blossom festival in Valsequillo lasts for several weeks and includes a wide variety of activities. In addition to the fair of local products, there are also concerts, processions, art exhibitions and much more. You can also take the almond tree route: a tour through the almond blossom fields while learning about the characteristics of this unique tree. It is also common for small pilgrimages to be held in honour of the patron saints of the municipalities: San Miguel in the case of Valsequillo; and the beloved Virgen del Socorro for the residents of Tejeda.
In both festivities, visitors can enjoy the local gastronomy and taste typical dishes such as bienmesabe, a traditional dessert made from almonds; mojo picón or pella de gofio among other products.

Is it possible to travel with a wheelchair?
If the wheelchair is foldable, it can be accommodated on one of our excursions; although it must always be communicated at the moment of requesting your reservation.
If, on the other hand, the wheelchair is not foldable or the occupant cannot be removed from it, we would on request give you an estimate for a private tour in a specially-adapted bus.
Electric scotter are not permited by the bus company.
How can I make my payment?
We have several ways of payment:

How do I know which is my bus?
